Travel Notes – Memories of Your Travels

When I travel I like to keep a travel journal so that I can remember my travels and put them in my scrapbook. I also like to share my travel stories with others who travel or read about travel. A travel journal is one way I go about keeping my memories alive. Travel notes are basically short, summary accounts of your travels. They’re meant to give someone reading your travel journal an idea of what adventures they’ve had while travelling, and also to help them actually plan their next travel adventure.

Most of the time they’re written from the perspective of a traveler who has traveled somewhere on business or pleasure and wants to share his or her experiences. One place travel journaling usually takes notes on: where you went, what you did, what you saw, how long it took you to get there, where you ended up, anything you wanted to know before you left, the best/ worst/ most fun things about your short vacation, how long you traveled, how you felt once you got there, where you overall enjoyed your trip, etc. There are other kinds of travel notes as well, sometimes called ‘your trip reports’, but they’re not really like travel journal writings, they tend to be more about describing your vacation to friends or family, or more about writing about your travels and posting these things on blogs, websites, etc.

There are many reasons people travel. Business and leisure travelers are on business, flying to another place for meetings and business activities. Lots of people travel for sightseeing, to see natural sights, etc. No matter what reason people travel, they need travel notes in order to remember their travels and to make their business or pleasure travel memories more memorable.
